The ‘Feel Good Night’ carnival in Beijing brings three somewhat disparate acts together with one thing in common: a mix of euphoria with music, lights, and sound to celebrate together.
Headliner French artist Breakbot is known for his fashion-forward shows and strong emphasis of rhythm and retro sounds along with Ost&Kjex who are two Norwegians best known for their sample manipulations and creating abstract electronic landscapes were performing on one stage together.
Secret Action represents the local talent. They are an independent rock and synth band hailing from Chengdu who also took part in performances here too.
FCS events was tasked with supplying the fixtures for the show along with the control solution being an Arena, TNP and a Quartz as backup. Fixtures included 90xACME Hybrid fixtures, 120xACME LED Washes, 20xACME Spots. Ai software was also used to control the media content on the background LED wall. Xiaowei had designed the lighting and also operated the Arena for the show.
‘The show was a great success with a great turnout. This was the first time I’ve had to program a show for a very heavily electronic performance so it was lots of fun. I’ve done lots of work for fashion shows, concerts, and theatre in the past but this was the first time with electronic music. The freedom and the fact that it is so easy to busk with Titan is fabulous and I think it works very well for this type of show.’ -Xiaowei
