Avolites advance notice to counterfeit resellers at Palm Expo Mumbai proves successful
Avolites Ltd took action early on this year at Palm Expo Mumbai by working with the organisers and its distributor to ensure no Avolites counterfeits were present at the tradeshow.
Prior to the show, all companies were informed that their booths risked either being closed or counterfeit products being confiscated.
All copies, either being solicited or used to programme fixtures on booths, had been highlighted to the show organisers a month before the tradeshow and a letter was sent to all companies exhibiting.
Avolites continues to protect its products by the use of patents for software, hardware and design. This is alongside a licensing system, regular raids on targeted manufacturing plants and warehouses stocking counterfeit products.
