The third year students studying Theatre Technology at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama recently had a 6 week gap to produce their Graduation Project.
Andy McDonald, Maddy Higham (Producers) and Jack Ryan (Director of Lighting) decided to join forces and do something that Guildhall has never seen before which is Live TV Chat Show called The Green Room. The show was filmed on the 13th May with live appearances from guests such as:
Richard Valentine - a BAFTA award winning Director renowned for his Multi camera directing skills for shows such as 'The Royal Variety Performance' and most recently 'Tonight at the Palladium'.
Danielle Bird - an Actress straight from the RSC stage.
Bill Deamer - Multi Olivier Award Winning Choreographer most well-known for his award winning choreography of Top Hat.

Hugh Bonneville, Jo Kennedy-Valentine, Paapa Essiedu AND Christian Burgess.
Jack decided to use a Tiger Touch 2 for its pixel mapping capabilities as well as two Titan Net Processors for the additional universes of fixtures in the lighting rig.
Jack Ryan commented, “It was great to see the production come together after so much preparation. It would not have been possible without the help of Avolites. The sheer power of Titan made my job as an LD easy!”
