LD Tony Perez began his career back in 1989 in Mexico. A couple of years later he started operating shows using conventional lights before he touched an Avolites console in 1995.
A Pearl 2000 was his trusted companion and it allowed him to control moving lights as well as conventional ones.. It was a bif step for him but he took it in his stride comfortably.
In 1997 he was fully focused on programing and operating for many shows throughout Mexico and he became a well known figure on the tour circuit.
Perez worked on big national and international tours around the world especially with Latin Artists such as Alejandra Guzman, Maldita Vecindad, Jaguares, Carlos Vives, Reyli, Gloria Trevi, Moenia and Pepe Aguilarto to name a few.
When Avolites released the next generation of software in 2008, Titan, Perez was one of the first in Mexico to embrace it and started using it immediately. Titan offered him a new platform with wider tools and added benefits which would make his programming life a lot better. As each version of Titan progressed Perez was presented with more exciting features such as Pixel Mapper and Fixture Exchange.
Perez is always proud to be behind an Avolites product and with Titan version 10.1 imminent he looks forward to utilise the powerful features on his next tour.
The Pepe Aguilar tour gave Perez the opportunity to work with Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas where he used a Tiger Touch 2 to control the following fixtures using 12 universes over Artnet.
