"This year the band wanted to go large on lighting and create a show that would wow their audiences, regardless of size", explains Edwards. "During this Spanish headline tour we played a variety of venues ranging from 2000-capacity indoor venues to 3000-cap outdoor amphitheaters and 5000-cap arenas." Luke invested in his very own Tiger Touch 2 after meeting the Avolites team at Alexandra Palace, while watching Jamie Thompson and David Singleton control lighting and video, respectively, for Bastille. "The Tiger Touch shows great flexibility to be able to deal with in house rigs both small and large. In an ever changing environment of different fixtures and different venues the Titan fixture layout and easy programming is a great help when it comes to very tight programming times." For the Barcelona Arena show a local production company brought in 24 x VL3000 Spot and 24 x VL300 Wash and 20 x Mac Aura's. All of this was controlled effortlessly by the Tiger Touch. "It is small enough to tour but big enough to produce a great show even with a large amount of fixtures. I was touring the Tiger Touch 2 and our front of house engineer Jacob Rudd was touring an Digico SD11 which meant our FOH footprint was extremely small, able to fit in any venue or situation."
