"I love using the Tiger and TiMo, so much!  I find it simple and quick to get the desired effect..."

Avolites Equipment:

Control: Titan Mobile & Tiger Touch Pro

Tom Campbell recently used his Titan Mobile on the Cross Faith tour in Japan and the Tiger Touch throughout the European leg.Tom had been an avid user of the classic Pearl and stepped up to Titan with his very own Titan Mobile.

“I started out on a Pearl 2004 and have been using AVO consoles ever since. I love using the Tiger and TiMo, so much so I have invested in my own, simply because I find it simple and quick to get the desired effect.  It is also so quick to set up; I can get it out of my Peli case and within five minutes I can be updating palletes. Out on tour, with a busy schedule this is essential.  I have been touring with various clients using AVO consoles for a number of years and these desks have never let me down. It really is early days for Crossfaith’s production; it is only going to get bigger as the band does”

The rig for the Japanese headline shows December 2013 consisted of over 100 CP60 Parcans, 24 x ACL’s, 4 x 8 cell moles and 6 x Slender K2’s

“At FOH I was running a Titan mobile with an 11 inch touch screen. As I was flying to Japan I needed something that was light but powerful and the Titan mobile was perfect.  Alongside the lighting we had four CO2 jets along the front edge of the stage. We also had two snow machines and a Mirror ball rigged on the FOH truss. This can be seen in the music video for Scarlett which used footage from the Tokyo show.”

Tom will be aiming to recreate these in future shows. As Tom comes from a theatre background, he loved using parcans and ACL’s, but in the future he would like to change to Robe 100’s and 600’s.

“These LED fixures will give a similar look whilst significantly reducing the power needed. We will also be aiming to bring the AI media server and upstage video wall/video enhanced set pieces and GoPro cameras placed around the stage into these shows. The band and myself have already put together a tonne of interesting custom video content. “

Both Tom’s desks are running Titan V7.  “I am loving the iOS remote, it is a great new feature, especially when I have 170 Pars to focus in under an hour. The setlist function is also an awesome feature!!”

2014 is going to be a very busy year for Crossfaith. They will be supporting Limp Bizkit on the Kerrang tour in February to lead into the busy festival season.  Big things to come from these guys!
